Dr. Dreux Johnson is a seasoned federal acquisition strategist with over 15 years of experience navigating the complexities of government contracting. As the founder of Owlox Consulting, Dr. Johnson brings a depth of expertise shaped by a distinguished career serving multiple federal agencies, including the U.S. Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Food and Drug Administration.
A proven leader in the federal acquisition arena, Dr. Johnson has served as Chief of a Contracting Office, Contracting Officer with an unlimited warrant, and Procurement Analyst. His career reflects a consistent commitment to acquisition excellence, operational integrity, and mission-focused results.
His journey began with distinction as the Top Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Technical Training in Contract Management, launching his career as an enlisted airman with a strong foundation in both technical knowledge and discipline. Over the years, Dr. Johnson has earned industry-recognized certifications, including the Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), and Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM)—credentials that underscore his comprehensive command of acquisition regulations, compliance, and contracting strategy.
Dr. Johnson holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, as well as a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts from Murray State University.
